While studying drums at the Arnhem Conservatory, Raoul got a record deal with the band he was in at that time. This led to a recording session at “The Wisseloord Studios”. When he witnessed Okkie Huysdens at work, Raoul instantly knew what to do: Going into the music recording business.
Ever since that day in the 80’s, Raoul has recorded, mixed and produced hundreds of bands in several studios and at his own facility called “The Edgetip Studio”
Raoul has attended several masterclasses and seminars. His most important influential teacher would be Michael Jackson’s engineer/producer: Bruce Swedien, with who he attended masterclasses at Bruce’s own studio.
